Henry Clepper Internship

SAF established the Henry Clepper Forest Policy Internship in memory of Henry Clepper, long-time executive director of SAF and a leader in the forestry community. The new and improved program will offer students and recent graduates a unique opportunity to not only work closely with the policy and public affairs team but also learn from and contribute to the entire SAF organization. Mollie Beattie Visiting Scholar Program

Established by the SAF Board of Directors in 2016, this program is named after Mollie Beattie, the first woman to head the United States Fish and Wildlife Service. The program seeks to encourage, support, and highlight research from underrepresented groups in forestry and natural resources to increase their visibility and help them thrive in the profession. Scholars are selected based on compelling research proposals and invited to visit DC to engage in unique networking opportunities.
