Registration to SAF25 includes access to plenary sessions, concurrent scientific and technical sessions, poster symposium, people, policy, and popcorn sessions, SAF CONNECT, expo hall events, refreshment breaks, and most receptions and parties as outlined in the Schedule-at-a-Glance.

Convention T-Shirt (Pre-Order with Registration)

This year’s convention T-shirts will celebrate "From Roots to Canopy: 125 Years of Forestry and Natural Resources" with imagery representing forestry and wildlife in Connecticut. This will be printed on a dark green shirt.

Convention T-shirts will be available for pre-order with registration for $20 and onsite at convention in a limited supply for $25. Shirts are available in sizes XS-XXXL. We recommend that you pre-order your shirt to guarantee your shirt and size. To pre-order your convention-themed T-shirt, add the shirt to your convention registration via the "Program" options in the registration form. All shirts will be available for pickup in person at convention. Last day to pre-order T-shirts is September 15.

COVID-19 and Health Policy

The health and safety of everyone attending the 2025 SAF National Convention (attendees, sponsors, exhibitors, staff, vendors, and volunteers) is a top priority for SAF. As such, we are undertaking preventative measures to reduce the potential spread of the COVID-19 virus in accordance with public health guidance from the City of Hartford. We will update you reflecting our ongoing efforts to ensure the safety and comfort of those joining us at convention as it gets closer, based on government guidance available at the time. If public health requirements change prior to the event, we will inform you about these changes and their implications on your attendance at this event.

By attending SAF25, attendees, partners, and SAF agree to engage safely while adhering to public health guidelines in place at the time of convention. This commitment further includes not attending the event if you are experiencing any signs, symptoms or have recently been exposed to, or diagnosed and not yet cleared by health authorities as non-contagious with COVID-19.

 

Cancellation & Refund Policy

You may cancel your registration and request a full refund until October 1, 2025. A $75 administrative fee will be deducted from the total refund due. Refund requests received after that date will not be accepted except in the case of a personal emergency occurring on or before October 19, 2025. SAF reserves the right to request verification prior to issuing a refund.


Consent Clause

Registration and attendance at, or participation in the 2025 SAF National Convention (SAF25) constitutes an agreement by the registrant to the use and distribution (both now and in the future) of the registrant or attendee’s image or voice in photographs and audio/video recordings for SAF's marketing and promotion of this event and SAF as an organization. SAF reserves the right to record entire presentations. SAF's use and distribution of recordings is contingent upon prior presenter approval and not attendee approval.
