Alumni Receptions

The convention is a great place to network and become reacquainted with fellow alumni, sharing old, new, and treasured memories. Alumni socials are also a good networking opportunity for students.

Each alumni reception booked at one of the venues below will be listed in the on-site printed program. If you decide to host an alumni event separate from the Thursday night reception or at an off-site location, SAF will include the information in the on-site program as long as it is provided.

All space is on hold until July 1, 2012, and thereafter is on an as-available basis. Please make your plans early! Food and beverage minimum requirements will vary by facility and size of space booked. To schedule a reception, contact:

There are 13 rooms reserved that can accommodate a variety of group sizes from up to 30 - 100. If you are interested in booking space where you can share a cash bar with other groups, please mention this when you contact Ms. Cortez.

There are 7 rooms reserved that can accommodate a variety of group sizes from up to 60 - 125. If you are interested in booking space where you can share a cash bar with other groups, please mention this when you contact Ms. Lease.

There is one large room available - it can accommodate up to 500. This venue may be appropriate, if you wish to team up with other institutions to share space, food, cash bar, and etcetera. We suggest that you consider coordinating with other institutions before contacting Ms. Frey.
