SAF Joins Partners to Advocate for Forestry Funding

SAF’s advocacy efforts for Fiscal Year (FY) 2021 highlight important federal programs and the power of partnerships and coalitions. Behind the scenes, funding levels are discussed and negotiated with forestry and natural resources partner organizations – giving our requests additional credibility and relevance.
Although we will probably see a continuing resolution this year, which will maintain current funding levels until after the election, it’s still important to continuously remind Congress about the importance of these programs to public and private lands and forestry professionals.
