As part of SAF's advocacy efforts for Fiscal Year (FY) 2021, SAF submitted testimony to the US House and Senate Appropriations Subcommittees on Interior, Environment, and Related Agencies, which have jurisdiction over funding for the US Forest Service and the Bureau of Land Management, among others. Because written testimony is limited to four pages, our testimony focuses on priorities like research and development, National Forest System roads, hazardous fuels, and a variety of state and private forestry programs.

SAF also works with partner organizations from across the forestry, natural resources, and conservation sector to offer additional support for our priorities and/or advocate for other programs that impact forests, forest management, and forestry professionals.
