SAF Seeks Leaders Like You to Join Our Board

Each year, SAF members across the country are elected by the membership to serve on SAF’s Board of Directors. We are currently seeking strong and vibrant leaders to serve in the roles of SAF vice president (leading to president and immediate past president) and Board members for Districts 3, 6, and 9, with service beginning January 1, 2022. The deadline to apply is June 1. 

The SAF Board provides leadership and direction to the Society in achieving its mission. The president, vice president, immediate past president, and 11 elected directors (one from each voting district) serve on the Board, along with ex officio members representing the House of Society Delegates, Student Executive Committee, Forest Science and Technology Board, and Committee on Forest Policy, as well as a Young Professional member.
