SAF Working Groups News and Events: D2 Silviculture

SAF Working Groups are communities of interest where members connect with others interested in enriching forest science and practice through discussion, knowledge sharing, and continuing education opportunities.
The D2 Silviculture Working Group will hold its annual business meeting virtually on Thursday, February 25, from 2:00 – 4:00 PM ET.
The first hour or so will address leadership, organizing technical sessions for the SAF national convention, an update on revising
Silvics of North America, and objectives for 2021. Following will be about an hour with a presentation and discussion of the topic ‘proforestation’, which has gained some recent attention.
