Sharing the Loss of Steven Glover

With a heavy heart, we share the passing of SAF's Director of Membership, Steven Glover. After battling cancer for several months, Steven passed away peacefully in his sleep on Saturday, May 15, 2021. Please keep his family in your thoughts and prayers. Read a short obituary here. 

A message from CEO Terry Baker: 
Steven's husband, Chris, shared with me how much he enjoyed working for SAF and how he felt his opinions were valued. He was energized by the opportunity to turn our membership trajectory around with his peers and our volunteer leaders. His insights and experience were exactly what we needed to build our engagement with members and grow our staff team. In his short time with SAF, Steven had a tremendous impact and set things in motion, for which I will be forever grateful. He will be deeply missed.

While we grieve, SAF staff remain here to serve our members. Darnell Pinson, our current Membership Manager, will serve as the interim Director of Membership.
