As we draw this year to a close, I want to personally thank each SAF member for providing me the opportunity to serve you this year as your president. It has been an incredibly rewarding year, and an honor and privilege to serve you and the profession.  

As I’ve gone about my work on your behalf this year, I’ve tried to seek your input and advice, listen to your thoughts, work collaboratively and positively with other SAF leaders, represent your interests and those of SAF in external arenas, serve in accordance with the SAF governance standards and guidance (i.e., our articles, bylaws, code of ethics, and board policies), and give of my time and energy to work for you as a leader in the profession.
