Convention Abstracts, Posters, and Science Flashes

SAF’s annual convention features plenary sessions held on a variety of forestry-related topics. Scientific and technical session presentations and posters are invited for the following tracks, including but not limited to: agroforestry; biomass, carbon, and bioenergy; diversity in natural resources research practice and education; economics; education and communication; entomology and pathology; fire and fuels management; forest ecology; forest policy; remote sensing applications and geospatial technologies; harvesting and utilization; history and philosophy; inventory and measurement; private forestry; recreation; silviculture; social sciences and human dimensions; soils and hydrology; urban and community forestry; wildlife management; and professional development workshops. The abstracts were only available in print format until 2011, when each presenter’s abstract was posted online for the purposes of knowledge transfer.
