Working Groups MeetUp

Friday, October 5 • 5:30 pm – 6:30 pm

Working Groups are SAF communities of interest and practice intended to engage in conversations to connect research, management practices, and policy; connect members by building relationships and a network of peers; organize scientific and technical sessions for the SAF National Convention, state society meetings, and other conferences such as the North American Forest Soils Conference (NAFSC), the Southeastern Recreation Research Conference (SERR), and the biennial North American Forest Ecology Workshop (NAFEW); and help develop continuing education and professional development programs for ForestEd.org.

The 2018 MeetUps provides an opportunity to learn what these communities are doing, ask questions, contribute to development of the 2019 convention program or other educational content, and to give members a voice in the dialog, including possibly starting a new a new community.
