Quiz Bowl

Wednesday, October 30 • 7:00 pm – 10:00 pm

An SAF convention favorite, this Jeopardy-style quiz game is designed to stimulate friendly competition among forestry schools across the country by pitting them against one another in a head-to-head contest with questions on all disciplines of forestry. Registration is now closed for this event. Good luck to all the teams participating! Teams on the waiting list will be contacted if a spot becomes available.

Student Awards

Sponsored by the Forest Science & Technology Board, cash awards are given for the best student oral presentations and posters. Primary authors whose abstracts are accepted for a presentation or poster and who indicate student status when submitting their abstracts will automatically be entered into the contest. Ribbons indicating poster winners will be placed on the posters by noon on Friday, November 1. Presentation winners will be notified via email after convention. 

Student awards for presentations and posters are funded by the Kurt Gottschalk Science Fund.
