A "no degree" option to access this certification is available. All eligible applicants must pass a competency-based exam to earn the designation Certified Forestry Technician. Candidate Certified Forestry Technicians must pass the exam prior to transitioning into the designation of CFT and once qualifying professional experience is accrued. If you have recently become an SAF Member, there MAY be some delay in receiving the discounted membership application.
