SAF FY 2017 Appropriations Testimony 

March 23, 2016 – SAF submitted its Fiscal Year 2017 testimony to the House Appropriations Subcommittee on Interior, Environment, and Related Agencies. SAF’s priorities impact a range of programs with the US Forest Service and Department of the Interior, and were developed in close coordination with our partner organizations. 

SAF Top Priorities 
• A long-term solution for wildfire suppression funding 
• Increased funding for research and development, particularly Forest Inventory and Analysis
• Support for Bureau of Land Management forestry programs
