Convention Registration

Registration to SAF2022 includes access to big stage sessions, concurrent technical sessions, poster symposium, people, policy, and popcorn, town hall, expo hall events, refreshment breaks, and most receptions and parties as outlined in the Schedule-at-a-Glance. Registration also includes complimentary access to SAF2022: On Demand, where many of the educational sessions will be available online to view after the in-person event. 

Tours, Workshops, and Additional Events

Access to tours, workshops, and the Fellows Breakfast are not available with the convention registration fee and are available for additional purchase. All tours include include a box lunch and/or snacks, transportation, and applicable entry fees. More details on tours can be found on the Technical Tour webpage. Workshops will be announced and available for purchase by June 2022.

COVID-19 Policy

The safety of all convention participants is a top priority for the Society of American Foresters (SAF). In making the decision to host a live meeting, we carefully weighed the risks and benefits and believe that, with the appropriate precautions, the 2022 SAF National Convention (SAF2022) can safely take place with minimal risk to our attendees. SAF will follow all CDC guidelines related to COVID-19, as well as guidelines or mandates imposed by the City and County of Baltimore and the state of Maryland. We will continue to work with the Baltimore Convention Center to ensure that meeting areas, sleeping rooms, and public areas are regularly cleaned and sanitized. Please note that, in following guidelines and regulations, we may be required to modify attendee requirements. Any updates will be posted on our website, as well as emailed to those who have registered for the meeting.

By registering to attend SAF2022, participants are agreeing to be fully vaccinated during the event or test negative for COVID-19 within 72 hours of the start of the event. Attendees that do not adhere to this policy will not be allowed to participate in the 2022 SAF National Convention. Based on current guidelines, wearing face masks will be optional and social distancing will not be required. Participants who prefer to wear masks are encouraged and welcome to do so.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

You may cancel your registration and request a full refund until September 1, 2022. A $75 administrative fee will be deducted from the total refund due. Refund requests received after that date will not be accepted except in the case of a personal emergency occurring on or before September 20, 2022. SAF reserves the right to request verification prior to issuing a refund.

Consent Clause

Registration and attendance at, or participation in the 2022 SAF National Convention (SAF2022) constitutes an agreement by the registrant to the use and distribution (both now and in the future) of the registrant or attendee’s image or voice in photographs and audio/video recordings for SAF's marketing and promotion of this event and SAF as an organization. SAF reserves the right to record entire presentations. SAF's use and distribution of recordings is contingent upon prior presenter approval and not attendee approval.
